Morbihan Yacht Survey recently carried out a pre purchase inspection survey of my Oceanis 31. I was very pleased with the service, communication and additional advice I received all of which were excellent and beyond my expectations.  Dear Damian,
I am writing to thank you for the excellent work you have done for us in connection with the pre-purchase survey of our river cruiser in France.
Your response to my enquiry was very rapid and you offered to do the survey within a week of my enquiry.    In the event, that was not practicable but it was still done within about a fortnight.
Your full survey (in and out of the water) was extremely comprehensive and your report covered 30 A4 sides of text and over 200 photographs which kept me studying at my desk for two or three days!    However it enabled us to make an informed decision to purchase the boat despite a number of structural problems.    Inevitably we uncovered a number of other problems requiring attention but we can’t blame you for not having X-ray eyes!   The fact that you also produced this report in English was another bonus!
We do not regret our decision to buy and we look forward to discovering the rivers and canals of France in her.  
We would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone who requires a boat survey.

To whom it my concern.
I recently hired Damian Likely of Morbihan Yacht Survey to carry out a 
pre purchase and insurance survey on a 12m 30 year old steel yacht on 
the hard in Arzal France.
The survey was carried out in a very professional manner, looking at 
all areas and equipment that were accessible and in 2 areas that I had 
requested that required removal of interior panels. The survey also 
included over 600 ultrasonic thickness readings on the hull.
The report that was produced after the survey, over 22 pages long, 
 was extremely comprehensive.
I would no hesitation in recommending Morbihan Yacht Survey to carry out 
any marine surveys.

Firstly, I have to say in the course of boat sharing 5 boats over 32 years and 4 surveys in that time (We did not survey Anadyr at purchase) – this has been one of the most comprehensive and helpful surveys that I have seen. The ‘hit’ list being well laid out and ready to be tackled.

We used Damian as our Surveyor to look at a Carver motor yacht in Brittany. He did a magnificent job for us which resulted in us not going ahead with the purchase. We could have wasted tens of thousands of pounds had it not been for Damian. A very approachable man, he was happy to help.
